Archive Manager
Archive Manager, a member of the PI Server Applications, is a management tool that allows PI Managers to control PI Archives from a graphical user interface (GUI) application.
What does it do? End-users can use the GUI application to create, edit, delete, move, and backup PI Archives. Users can also register, unregister, enable and disable archive shifting and writing on PI Archives.
System Monitor
System Monitor, a member of the PI Server Applications, is a management tool that alerts PI Managers when failures occur on the PI Network, on a PI Home Node and its’ PI NET and PI API Nodes.
What does it do? End-users can configure the application to alert PI Managers when portions of the wide area network (WAN) or local area networks (LAN) experience problems, which may be isolated to a certain PI Home Node or its’ PI NET or PI API node.
